Nonza
The coast to the north of the village of Nonza is made up of a huge beach of sand and black shingle left over from the former quarry Canari-Abro, which closed in 1965. Since then the sea has gradually been reclaiming this beach, which in the 1950s was double its current width.
Although swimming is prohibited, the beach is one of the unmissable sights of Cap Corse.
