Ostriconi beach is a large sandy beach in the Agriates Desert 13 km from Rousse Island. Less visited than the other large beaches of the desert (Saleccia and Lotu), lovers of open space will be delighted.
It is situated at the mouth of the river from which it takes its name. Footbridges have been built which allow hikers and walkers to enjoy beautiful trails in the wild countryside. You may even meet some cows.
In the summer, the beach is supervised for the safety of holidaymakers, because strong winds and waves can be dangerous from time to time.
